How to get to us: Access to the valley from Brunico is the most
direct way and offers some very attractive views.
For those arriving from the Brenner motorway, it is certainly faster to
take the exit at Chiusa and pass through the neighbouring Val Gardena,
going over the Gardena Pass (transit is very easy in the summer).
From the Veneto region, however, it is possible to arrive from the Cadore
and from the Agordino areas.
By train, the fastest way is Bolzano-Fortezza, and from here towards Brunico,
reaching the valley by bus.
If you wish to reach the Alta Badia by car, you can use the Route
Planner to plan your itinerary (the link opens a new window).
If you prefer to take the train, you can consult the on-line train time-table
FS online.

Villa
Sarot is set in the splendid Dolomites, the "pale mountains"
which fascinate visitors from all over the world.
The villa is about 600 metres from the main square of the village and
about 400 metres from the ski-lifts of Pedraces, which also link up with
other resorts in the Alta Badia; the ski school with the Skiland for children
is only 400 metres away.
For fans of cross-country skiing, there are splendid facilities at Armentarola
(10 km) and Corvara (7 km).
In the summer,
if you want to go cycling, the most beautiful spots of the Alta Badia
are within easy reach.
As far as
the possibilities of entertainment are concerned, Villa Sarot is 300 metres
from the Badia Pub, one of the centres of local night life. Motty's taxi
rank (the night taxi that does the rounds of the night spots of the Alta
Badia until 3 in the morning) is next to the Badia Pub.
Three kilometres
away, easily reached by car, is the house where the Blessed Giuseppe Freinademetz
(1852-1908) was born, the missionary monk of the Divine Word who lived
in China (where he died) in the early 1900s.
The very beautiful little church of Santa Croce, standing at the foot
of the peak of the same name, can also be reached from the Pedraces ski-lifts.
